Vol 12 Highlight Copy and Paste

Working in M/S Word or E-Mail.



Words are normally black on white background.
Highlight - background blue.
Like this white sentence with a dark background.
Here is how to highlight:


  1. Place the tip of the arrow in front of the words to highlight.
  1. Hold the left mouse button down.
  1. Drag arrow across the words.
  1. When background behind words are a light blue, they're highlighted.
Try highlighting this word. ----------------------->
Hey,
Try highlighting this sentence. ----------------->
Hey, I did it!
Try highlighting this paragraph. ---------------->
You will need to drag the arrow down as well as across.
Hey, I did it. I highlighted this whole paragraph.
But why? What's the point of highlighting?
When words are highlighted, the computer is looking at those words. We can then change the words: make corrections by retyping, enlarge or reduce the type, delete words or move words. On this page you will copy answers in the left column and paste them next to their correct questions on the right.

Copy the answers and ...
  1. Highlight one answer in the left column.
  2. Right click the Mouse.
  3. Move mouse arrow down to "Copy" and click.

Paste the answer into the box after the correct question.
  1. Move pointer into the answer spot beside the correct question.
  2. When arrow becomes a vertical line, click. Should be flashing.
  3. Right click the Mouse
  4. Move mouse arrow down to "Paste," and click.
    The highlighted word should be in the answer spot.
